Student Opportunities and Activities
At Penrith Valley School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.
Our programs may include:
- Top Blokes Program – wellbeing program for boys focusing on decision-making, relationships, safety and respectful behaviours
- Drive for Life Program – practical support to help students learn driving skills and work towards safe, independent travel
- KARI Program – cultural support and engagement for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students
- Excursions – including Luna Park, Yarramundi, community access and local learning experiences
- Sporting Programs – Wanderers soccer, Minifit and other structured physical activity sessions
- Sensory Room Sessions – regulation, calming and sensory-based learning
- Ninja Warrior Course – movement, fitness and confidence-building challenges
- Cultural and Language Activities – celebrating diverse cultures and encouraging student identity

Our sensory room is a calm, supportive space where students can regulate, relax and refocus.
Ninja Warrior Course
Our Ninja Warrior course helps students build strength, agility, and confidence. They can challenge themselves on obstacle courses, participate in timed competitions, and celebrate their achievements
Trips and Excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
